When ironing heat transfer film to sublimation printed synthetic sportswear, problems can arise because the base color of the shirt reacts with the film in the heat press, causing the color to bleed through. This process is called dye migration. For example, if you iron white flex foil onto a red jersey, the lettering may not appear white but instead take on a slight pink or red tint. This occurs on all synthetic fiber garments that have been factory-printed using sublimation technology. The blockout layer of Poli-Flex Blockout Soft prevents the sublimation ink from re-sublimating and covers the colors, therefore it is ideal for decorating and lettering colored synthetic fabrics.

• Reflect the design in a graphic software before cutting. 
• Cut with cutting plotter and 45º blade or laser machine.
• Before cutting, it is recommended to peel a bit in the corner to see which side is the carrier and which is the foil.
• We recommend minimum time to be taken between plotting and further processing.
• To prevent sublimation migration, do not preheat of the textiles.
• Iron in heat press: medium pressure, at 130 °C for 5s. 
• After thermal transfer, the PET film must be removed while still warm.
• The ironed foil must always be fixed with baking paper and ironed.
