What does this classification mean?

We have gained extraordinary experience in the field of sublimation white mugs, as we have been selling this product since 2005. Over the years, we have learned about all the major manufacturers and quality levels and have now developed one of the most effective offers available throughout the EU.

Chinese factories use quality sorting in the production of sublimation mugs. By creating different quality levels and pricing, they reach more target groups, and in this way, defective pieces with minor varnish defects taken off the assembly line can be sold together with flawless pieces. Quality sorting is usually communicated by manufacturers and distributors in the following way, which are not standard values, since there is no official requirement and standard system accepted on the market.

• A / AA / AAA mugs: Less than approximately 3% of the ordered quantity contains small, barely noticeable paint defects. This is considered top quality.
• B / AB mugs: Less than 10% of the ordered quantity contains sublimation mugs with varnish defects. For example, up to 3-4 mugs from a carton may be defective.
• C / ECO / Budget...etc. mugs: Up to more than 20% of the ordered quantity may contain mugs with paint defects.
• „ABC” mugs: We don't recommend anyone to buy this version because – although it may apparently contain a mixture of the 3 qualities – in reality it means that it contains a mixture of defective and non-defective pieces, along with the more seriously defective mugs that were removed during sorting. Here, the proportion of defective pieces can be 20–50%, depending on the manufacturer.

Varnish coatings

There has also been a trend towards lacquer coating on blank, printable sublimation mugs available on the market, with several manufacturers giving their mugs a different and fancy name for the lacquer coating. If the mug has a valid certification tested and issued by TÜV or another organization, then it is appropriate, if it does not, then we are just talking about a fancy name.

Transfer time and temperature:
