Sublimation

Sublimation wide format printing is similar to desktop “sublimation” printers, using dye sublimation inks, which can be printed on special roll sublimation paper with a wide format printer. Graphics and prints printed on paper can be transferred by heat press or roll heat treatment calender onto textiles with at least 80% synthetic fibres (e.g. polyester), or onto hard products and souvenirs pre-treated with sublimation varnish. The dye is transformed into a vapour by the heat treatment, so that the dye vapour is directly transferred into the molecular structure of the fibre material, thus colouring the substrate. Sublimation technology is used to produce, among other things, dresses, swimwear, jerseys, fitness clothing, flags, cushions, curtains, textile pictures, textile display products, small and large hard goods, souvenirs.

Perfect colour coverage – even better than EPSON!

Colour accuracy is one of the most important criteria for good production. For a given paint, the colour gamut determines the amount of colour shades it can “display, produce”. InkTec's inks, in this case the G7 type, cover almost identical colour gamuts in the in-house tests, and even outperform EPSON's factory Ultrachrome DS inks for certain colours. On top of it it's also environmentally friendly:
