Damage Warranty
By purchasing the Damage Warranty, we provide two things for our customers:
1. Safer packaging. It depends on the product, there is no uniform description list. It can mean an extra layer of bubble wrap, a double cardboard box (2 boxes), the use of an increased amount of space filler ... etc. Our warehouse colleagues, if they see the Damage Warranty item at the time of purchase, will therefore take further steps beyond the normal packaging with the utmost care to be expected to minimize the chance of damage caused by the courier service.
2. It also acts as insurance, so if the product is damaged, we will definitely repair / replace it for you, regardless of whether the courier service accepts the fact of the damage and compensation or not. Nevertheless, the courier service claim report must be filled in! In all cases, if you experience damage, please ask the courier before leaving and send it completed to our e-mail address sales@signdepot.eu.
So what happens if you buy the Damage Warranty and the product arrives damaged?
You must report the case in writing to sales@signdepot.eu with the following information: Order number or account number, photo of the damage, courier report. We will repair or replace the damaged product for you. The repaired / replaced product will be shipped free of charge for a separate shipping fee or we can add it to your next order. You choose the last two options.
What happens if you do not purchase the Damage Warranty?
In this case, we will send your order with the standard supplier's packaging, which of course is also safe and of the quality expected by courier delivery, but you should know that in most cases the courier service does not handle the packages as intended, so the risk of damage is extremely high. and in case of damage, we will only repair / replace the damaged product in case of a claim for compensation accepted by the courier service! Based on our more than 15 years of sales experience in an online store, the number of damaged packages is growing year by year, which is probably caused by the increasing traffic and competition in the courier services. Because we hand over the products to the courier packaged with the required care, but the courier does not handle them properly in all cases, we have decided to introduce a Damage Warranty to reduce the chance of injury with the increased amount of packaging. Products are only guaranteed in the event of compensation accepted by the courier service and announced in advance on the basis of the protocol, and in this case we will repair / replace them.
