Why need white coating for sublimation printing?
The well-known sublimation blank products (ceramic mug, metal key fastener, paper puzzle...) are white products and factory coated with special sublimation coating. If you would like to print on dark products then you will need this white coating Only for hard materials. Digi Coat Opague white coating is applied before the Digi Coat Clear Sublimation Coating!!! Simple solution for creating white base layer for dark products. Which products can be coatable with Opaque white coating?
The basic criterons of sublimation printing that the product mus tolerate the 180-190C° high temperature for 60-100seconds. So this printing technology impossible on some plastic materials, for example PVC. Natural and untreated surfaces like wood, metal, ceramic, leather, stone, glass and other items pose a real challenge to the digital decorator. Coating procedure
The process doesn't need compressor, spray gun or painting roller. Coverage: 2 m2 1. Shake well for 1 minute 2. Ensure the surface to be coated is clean dry and free from grease 3. For best results apply Digi Coat in an even motion holding the can approx 250mm from surface using light passes at room temperature. Using multiple passes for a high gloss finish. 4. Allow to air dry for 5 minutes and then cure in oven at 160°C for 15-20 minutes Specifications:
