The latest information for clients who using our old No-Cut transfer papers
The new Forever Laser Dark No-Cut LowTemp transfer paper is suitable for white toner OKI printers and colour printers as well, therefore it replaces both Laser Dark No-Cut and Laser Dark No-Cut-W transfer papers those were suggested earlier separately for coloured and coloured/white toner printers. The new No-Cut LowTemp transfer paper also provides a number of innovations:
*You can achieve the complete t-shirt pritning solution with using a white-toner OKI printer!
During the transfer printing of dark fabrics and textiles you always need to use "Dark" transfer paper that contains a white covering flex material, as ink in the common colour printers is not able to cover the fabric colours. That is the reason why Dark transfer paper is made with white covering film layer. The pattern is printed on this Dark transfer paper then transferred onto the fabric. However, in this case you need to compromise as when using Dark transfer paper you need to trim the excess white area and background off the printed pattern, or else it also gets transferred onto the fabric. It therefore requires some preparation and extra work, namely cutting with scissors or a cutting plotter. Do you want to get rid off from the cutting and white background?
The No-Cut transfer paper solves the problem of classical dark transfer papers by automatically applying a white cover layer under the printed areas during the pressing process. The white layer remains on the unprinted areas of the transfer paper. For example, if there is a logo with white background, the coloured logo gets printed onto the T-shirt but its white background does not, without manually or plotter trimming the contour before printing. This process is perfect for print photos with raster screen because the automatically self-weeding done with an accuracy of 0.1 mm. After rasterization you can print even colour gradients on coloured/black fabrics. Similar or same as a direct garment printer!
So why is it so advantageous for you? You do not need to trim the contours of the printed transfer paper before pressing the image onto black/coloured fabrics, and you can also print colour gradients and photos onto dark fabrics without a thick and rigid foil-like finish.
Based on previous article now you know that if you use No-Cut transfer paper then only the ink printed areas gets transferred onto the T-shirt automatically without white background and no need for trimming. However, traditional colour printers can not print white colour so the No-Cut paper can not be used for photos and white images - for example, in a photo of your smiling Mom the white teeth will be same as the T-shirt you printed on...for example black. Because at these white areas the No-Cut paper will "not work". But what if we have a printer with normal colour and a WHITE INK? The new OKI white toner LED printer series uses white ink as a world first, and paired with No-Cut transfer paper technology they offer top quality solutions for printing black or coloured T-shirts, garments and other fabrics. The image can be monochrome, colour, plain white, colour gradient or even photo quality. Only the printed area will be transfered without background. Due to No-Cut technology only the printed ink dots get covered with the white cover layer from the transfer paper, therefore rasterizing the image may result in high quality, even close to screen printing or direct t-shirt printing quality.
The printed garment will be comfortable and durable. Washable up to 40°C.
