How is Poli-Tape Poli-Flex Nylon cuttable heat transfer film different?

Heat-transferring films on nylon and similar water-repellent fabrics often results in an adhesion issue. This is not because of the nylon fiber itself but because of its water-repellent coating which not only repels water but also the hot melt adhesives used in standard PU films. Poli-Flex Nylon contains a specifically designed low temperature hot melt adhesive which is the perfect solution to nylon adhesion problems.

Hint: An easy test with a drop of water on the fabric will tell you if you should use Poli-Flex Nylon instead of regular PU.

How to use it?

Before cutting, reflect the design in a graphic software.
Cutting with cutting plotter: 45° blade / laser machine
Before cutting, it is recommended to peel a bit in the corner to see which side is the carrier and which is the foil.
Steps of ironing by heat press:
1. Pre pressing with medium pressure at 150 °C for 3-4 seconds.
2. Reomove the liner lukewarm.
3. After cooling down press it for another 10-15 seconds with medium pressure at 150 °C.
The ironed foil must always be fixed with baking paper and ironed.
